Quote by Kitaan Although I
really love the colors and softness of the wall, the background could use a bit more
work to pull the wall greatly together. I like the added detail in her eyes, I don't really think it works
exactly how it should though- looks a bit weird rather than realistic...which I believe you were going for.
The trees are wonderfully detailed, however they lack to actually be apart of the wall.
The water only seems to show significance on her, and there should be less opacity on the water.
If you were going for a clearwater look you should be able to see her dress more as well as the trees in back.
They really should be incorporated into the wall so that it brings out the whole realism on the wallpaper.
Lighting is great, maybe a bit more of a shine on top...hitting the trees. But that's just an optional
thing you could try to really enhance the impact of the light on the scene.
Overall you did an awesome job taking this scan and vectoring it, you made it yours
and really softened it up. Great job.
If I could ever highlight a comment, I'd have highlighted this one (perhaps we should have that feature here? lol)
:)
I know my flaws are prominent in this wall and I'm glad there are some people who actually noticed them. Those critics,
comments, encouragement and supports are certainly what will whip me to make a better one in the future.
The only thing I'd like to point out is that this wall has nothing vectored in it. Everything was painted and drawn
directly with Bamboo (even the line art of Inori). Regarding the chosen color and theme, it's purely intentional due to
my preference of light colors recently that do magic to my jumbled brain. I'm glad I didn't screw things up too badly
but it could definitely be much better.
Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback and I hope this won't be the last one because it'll be my lost then
:)
Haha. That does sound like a nice idea. You're very welcome, I don't usually get to comment that big or in detail
but I saw alot that could be done to really make the wall stand out and be flawless.
Ah, I really was under the impression it was vectored. Painted means it was even more tougher to produce.
I'm more of a vector girl myself, painting is something I do to keep myself awake or just torture myself haha.
The colors were definitely fine, I loved the angelic look it gave the wall. It was very peaceful and calm.
I hope to see more walls in the future from you, I'll try to give as much insight as I can :)
